I was asked to pitch for the London Dungeon guide. I showed 3 different options, as a newspaper (their original idea), a diary entry of various known people from the past and a fun educational activity book. They were very impressed with all 3 ideas and even though originally they thought they’d go with the newspaper they ended up choosing a mixture of the diary of events and the activity book.
However they still really liked the newspaper idea and handed it out as a freebie at their Jack The Ripper summer campaign, it worked really well as a marketing tool as the paper was left around on the tube, restaurants etc..
