I have recently been trying to add to my portfolio and really fancied having a go at some children's milkshake packaging. This is the outcome, I chose banana, chocolate and strawberry as my desired flavours - chocolate, of course, is my favourite.

GREETING CARD IDEAS 1 | June 2013
Since I enjoy creating new images, I am constantly looking for new applications for them. To that end, as a personal project, I decided to create a line of greetings cards.
I used a number of royalty free, black and white clip art images and worked them up into a cohesive range of illustrations by using colour palettes and textures. Humorous captions were then added.
I am working with one interested publisher at the moment to expand the range. The cards will be distributed to various department stores.
A few more card ideas I've been working on this month.
GREETING CARD IDEAS 2 | May 2013
The brief was to put together creative ideas for a national poster campaign to raise the awareness of Feel Good Drinks, and make the nation feel good. The communication objectives were: people need to know the brand name, what the drink looks like and that the drinks are full of tasty fruity goodness. The communication needs to be unique, memorable and very feel good. When thinking about what makes me feel good I thought... definitely a big cuddle or hug from someone you love always makes you feel warm and gooey inside. I chose the sloths to show this because they have giant eyes (think Puss from Shrek), and the long arms should make for a good hug. I also decided to show the drink as little back packs with long wiggly straws going straight into their mouth so they can have that continuous "feel good" feeling. If you have a spare moment please could you take a peek at my artwork and if you like it I'd really appreciate it if you could vote for me. Thanking you kindly. x

"LUST IN THE MOVIES" DRAWINGS | September 2013
As a lot of my work is rather busy and there is so many layers to it. I quite fancied working on a bunch of images that had just one main focal point and were fairy stripped back. The pics below are the outcome.

AOI 'THE PLANT FAIRY' IMAGE SELECTED FOR IMAGES 34 | April 2010
The Association Of Illustrators illustration awards are the most comprehensive and high profile awards of their type in the UK. The awards are international and are open to illustrators worldwide working across all sectors and in any medium.
I entered my illustration “The Plant Fairy” into the self promotion category and it was selected. Unfortunately I didn’t receive an award but did get my artwork featured in the awards catalogue alongside other illustrators that I'm inspired by - Images 34.
FOR SAKE OR FOR SALE ART EXHIBITION | July 2006
I was invited to take part in an exhibition organised by Labyrinth ( a collaboration of active students of the Arts Policy at City University, London). They organised an exhibition on the theme of ‘for sake or for sale’, and considered approaches artists adopt in order to sell work, yet still develop their personal practice.
PHOTOGRAPHING FAIRIES ADVERT FOR GRAPHIC NOVEL | February 2013
An advert put together for 'Photographing Fairies', the 30 page graphic novel I am illustrating for writer John Bamber.
